Tsukihime Remake's Physical Artbook Censored for PS4 Release
By Yung Namahage • 6 months ago

With the popularity of the Fate series and more recently, the Neko Arc meme (Minions for weebs if you ask me), a lot of people have been looking forward to seeing where it all begain with the upcoming western release of Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon. While it's been confirmed the game itself won't have any major differences to the game across regions or consoles, there will be some alterations to the artbook bundled with the Physical Limited Edition depending on the console you purchased it for.

The game's English Twitter account (still not saying X; Elon can fuck himself) said:

"Due to differing platform publishing policies, the artbook included in the Physical Limited Edition for PlayStation 4 will be printed with graphic modifications to two pages while the artbook included in the Physical Limited Edition for Nintendo Switch will be printed without the modifications."

Gamers paying a premium for the Phsycial Limited Edition on PS4 will recieve an inferior product, and the "differering platform publishing policies" more or less confirm that it's Sony who made the order here. It's a strange move to censor a bonus that comes with the game, but at least we know the game itself won't be censored, according to the same tweet:

"Despite these adjustments to the PlayStation 4 artbook, the game will remain unaltered for both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your support of Tsukihime - A piece of blue glass moon - ."

Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon releases on June 27 for PS4/PS5 and Switch, with a PC release on the way too. What do you guys think? Is there any reason to buy the Physical Limited Edition on PlayStation anymore? Leave your thoughts below!
