Tsukihime -A Piece of Blue Glass Moon-, the formally Japan-exclusive remake of Type-Moon's pre-Fate eroge VN, finally has a western release date!
The A Piece of Blue Glass Moon remake was originally released in 2021, updating the game's setting from a small town to a large city, making the time period more contemporary, and featuring a new voice cast as well as new story scenarions from Fate series writer Kinoko Nasu. It's actually an expanded adaptation of the Near Side of the Moon part of the original game, with the second Far Side of the Moon recieving a similar remake subtitled The Other Side of Red Garden that's yet to be released. At least we in the west can expect to see A Piece of Blue Glass Moon being released in English in summer of next year. Here's the latest trailer, which is age-restricted on YouTube for some reason.
Tsukihime isn't just connected to the Fate series, but also Melty Blood, Kagetsu Tohya and The Garden of Sinners, so Type-Moon fans who want to experience the entirety of the interconnected narrative would surely be interested to see the updated story in A Piece of Blue Glass Moon.
