Netflix's One Piece Gets its Robin

Netlflix announced that their smash hit live-action adaptation of One Piece was getting a second season some time ago. Now they've confirmed the casting of two major characters in the upcoming season: "Mr. 0" and "Ms. All Sunday," the respective leader and vice president of criminal organization Baroque Works, who the Straw Hat Pirates encounter on their quest across the Grand Line. Now this may be a spoiler, but it's one of those that are practically common knowledge by now: Ms. All Sunday is the codename of Nico Robin, who later joins the Straw Hat Pirates and is one of the series' most iconic characters, and Mr. 0, AKA Crocodile, goes on to become one of Luffy's recurring adversaries.

Mr. 0/Crocodile will be played by Joe Manganiello, known for the Magic Mike series, being a huge Dungeons & Dragons nerd and playing Deathstroke in DC's Snyderverse in a single post-credits scene that was never paid off. Meanwhile, Ms. All Sunday/Robin will be portrayed by Russian model and actress Lera Abova, who doesn't have as many acting credits to her name but was in a TV spin-off of the Pitch Perfect movies and the 2019 Luc Besson movie Anna.

Joe Manganiello is great at playing macho douchebag types, and Crocodile seems right up his alley. I'll admit I don't know much about Lera Abova, but if she's to become a regular cast member she better be good. What do you guys think of these castings? Let us know in the comments!
