It wasn't too long ago that the H-gaming world was mourning the loss of Illusion, creators of legendary hentai games like Koikatsu Party, RapeLay and Honey Select, among others. But it's time to stop being sad about the past and start looking toward the future, and the future of Illusion looks pretty sweet.
The brains behind Illusion have seemingly formed a new studio called ILLGAMES, standing for "Innovate. Liberty. Lovely Games." They've also come out swinging with the announcement of their latest title, a spiritual successor to Honey Select called... Honey Come. Apparently it's pronounced like honeycomb.
According to the launch trailer, it seems to have everything you'd expect from an Illusion game. The artstyle is more kawaii than Honey Select's and is closer to Koikatsu Party, but there's still the stupidly in-depth waifu creation and custom sex scenes, only with more features like third person exploration of some kind and a mechanic for varying characters' emotions between scenes. Sounds interesting.
Honey Come is out September 9 on Fanza and DLSite, plus there's a demo for the character creator available on the official website right now.The website makes it clear it's for the Japanese market specifically, so maybe try a VPN to be on the safe side.
