Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a testament to pushing the boundaries in gaming. When that bad boy dropped, everyone and their mother was playing. I remember going over to a friend's house and us spending hours just running around blasting on split screen (back when that was a common feature for games). When I heard about a re-release incoming in the form of the Classic Collection, I immediately got a little hype. I don’t have as much time on my hands anymore to spend on it, but I was excited to catch a YouTube video here and there of people enjoying the title to relive my nostalgia. Boy oh boy was that a misguided conception of this release.
In reality, this project is nothing more than a complete cash grab. The collection is riddled with bugs, laggy matches, server issues, missing features, and a generally worse experience than the original games offered. I did in fact see YouTube videos crop up about the game as expected, but I didn’t expect them to be negative criticisms tearing the release apart for its horrendous disrespect to a landmark title in gaming history. Watching the gameplay for myself though, it’s all absolutely deserved. It’s a shame that corporate executives have no qualms about ruining projects in the gaming space with fast release times where quality is sacrificed for a quick buck. This collection was obviously not ready for an open beta, let alone a price tag. There’s better value to be had by simply watching the Star Wars porn videos available here on hentai0 and across the galaxy.

Alas, this was simply not the droid we’re looking for. This series has had a rough go of it for years now and fans may be wondering if we’ll ever see a modern Battlefront game that recaptures the fun of the originals. Honestly it looks grim, but on the bright side diehard fans can still just play the OG and with mods, hey it’s kinda like a remaster. Did you hear about the Classic Collection?
