There are some people who just want to see the world burn; and there are some who want to see guys play Nier Automata. It's a damn fine game, of course, but I probably wouldn't dupe people into buying it on a dating app.
That's precisely what a woman named Jenny claimed to do on Twitter. By her count, she convinced 22 guy she matched with on Tinder to buy the game and then promptly ghosted them. Her logic was more people buying Nier Automata means more games from Yoko Taro.
Nier and Drankengard creator Yoko Taro soon caught wind of this and reacted in a very Yoko Taro way: "Glory to mankind. (◎血◎)" he tweeted. Who knows, maybe he'll take this as a sign to start working on the follow-up to Automata.
What do you guys make of this? Would you shill a game through a dating app like this? Sound off below!
