Somehow, Tekken's Most Underrated MILF Returns
By Yung Namahage • 2 years ago

This year's Game Awards brought a lot of surprises, one of the biggest being a return of a certain character in the next Tekken.

The Tekken 8 trailer showed protagonist-turned-villain-turned protagonist again Jin facing off against his father Kazuya, again, amid the world falling into war and chaos. Again. What's new is the reveal that Jin's mother Jun is still alive. Jun was seen in the non-canonTekken Tag Tournament and its 2011 sequel, where she's also the final boss, but those are non-canon spin-offs. The last time she was in a canon mainline Tekken was Tekken 2 in 1995, before her and Kazuya's son Jin was introduced in Tekken 3.

She was originally thought to have been killed off by Ogre before the events of Tekken 3, as seen in the Bloodlines Netflix anime. Her niece and Jin's cousin Asuka was introduced in Tekken 5 as a kind of stand-in for players who miss her Kazama martial arts fighting style, but now that Jun's back we don't know if Asuka will be there as well. Then again, Eddie & Christie have both been in several Tekken games together despite both being capoeria fighters with extremely similar movesets, so who knows at this point. All I know is her new design is C L E A N.

Are you guys excited to see Jun in Tekken again? Who else would you like to see return? Let us know below!
