Smashing The Like Button... On Hentai Videos
By WakeUpSnooze • 8 months ago

There comes a point in everyone’s life where we stumble across a hentai so incredibly fap-worthy that we can’t help but add it to the collection. Some of us just hit a like button or favorite the video, some of us download it for safekeeping, and paranoid psychos like myself download it and throw it onto an encrypted external drive for good measure. Hey, don’t want anyone finding my vast collection of three hentai episodes of yuri, okay? Point is, at some junction we find a piece we really enjoy, and today I’m here to ask: why? What is it that provides a tipping point and pushes someone over the edge to liking a hentai video?

I’m sure for the art students out there the overall animation quality plays a big role. Lots of studios can release an episode of hentai, but only a few have the experience, production skills, creative talent, and of course big stacks of mula to produce a smooth looking 2D sex scene. Then for the writers out there, it may be the dialogue. A lot of times the animation can be decent or even amazing, but when the girl’s entire speech pattern for 20 minutes is “Oh my god, fuck me harder” some of the audience can lose interest quick. I have no doubt that a boring plot and characters leads many hentai episodes to become fodder for the sands of time. Another obvious reason is simply what kinks are included in the concept. Making your main series “Dark Elf Fucker 4: Elf’s Dark Descent” is really going to push people away who don’t find elves or the fantasy setting appealing, but you’re going to lock down some easy likes from the elf fuckers of the world. Perhaps you consider yourself a bit of a critic, and thus reserve the like button for the most fantastical of episodes that contain good animation, captivating writing, and rare kinks. Sounds good, but finding those must be excruciating.

Or maybe the girl is just super cute and extorts the like button out of you.

Today I’ve presented just some of the vast array of reasons someone might smash the like button. Now I’d like to turn it over and hear why YOU do it. What drives you to go from “this is neat” to “Hot damn I don’t want to lose access to this”? What points of a hentai need to hit home for you to love it? How often do you catch yourself liking (or the equivalent for you) a hentai video? Judge some animation, review some acting, scrutinize some kinks, and smash the like button in the comments below!
