Shonen Jump Heroes Assemble in New Crossover Game
By Yung Namahage • 1 year ago

When most people hear about MOBAs, there are two games that come to mind: League of Legends and Dota 2. But that won't stop publishers from creating new ones with whatever IPs they can get a hold of, like Pokémon UniteGuardians of Middle Earth and Marvel Super War, and now Shueisha and DeNA are looking to get in on the trend with some of the most iconic characters in manga and anime.

Jump Assemble is a 5-on-5 MOBA for mobiles starring iconic heroes from the pages of Shonen Jump, from series including Dragon BallOne PieceNarutoJujutsu KaisenBleachDemon SlayerMashleUndead Unluck and more. So if you want to see Goku, Ichigo, Fushiguro, Sasuke and Boa Hancock face off against Mash, Tanjiro, Andy, Frieza and Usopp, this is the game for you!

The game is currently undergoing a close beta test for Android users in the Philippines, and is set for release in most of Asia some time next year. However, a Japanese release hasn't even been confirmed yet, let alone any sign this is coming out in the west. Whatever it is, well all know there's one Shonen Jump superstar that is sorely missing from the current roster, who'll hopefully be added to the game eventually. You know who I'm talking about.

What do you guys think of Jump Assemble? Are you up for the idea of a crossover of this scale, or are they a few years too late for the MOBA train? Sound off below!
