Perky Peruvian Azucena is Tekken's Latest Waifu

You gotta love Tekken's character designers. Sometimes they base a character on a real person or existing character, like King with Tiger Mask or Marshall Law with Bruce Lee, sometimes it's literally just a bear, and sometimes the character is basically just a national stereotype doing kung fu. Guess which one Azucena Milagros Ortiz Castillo, an energetic coffee farmer from Peru fits under.

Azucena is the heir to a coffee company who broke into the world of MMA with her signature playful, dynamic style. Her moveset incorporates dodges, counters and grapples to take down her opponents, almost like she's playing with them. Also, her ass looks very nice under that fitness gear, and the traditional Peruvian pattern on her jacket is a nice touch.

Alongside Azucena, the return of Raven for the first time since Tekken 6 is a welcome addition to the Tekken 8 roster. In Tekken 7 he was replaced by his boss Master Raven, who had a similar fighting style but lacked the Wesley Snipes in Blade but as a ninja vibe that OG Raven had since Tekken 5. Now he's looking cooler than ever, especially with more emphasis on his shadow clone jutsu moves this time around.

Tekken 8 was only announced last year, and curiously enough Azucena is the first brand new character to be announced. There's still no release date yet, so it's possible we'll see a few new faces alongside familiar ones in the coming months.
