With KimiNozo getting an official rerelease very soon, letting players see where the Muv-Luv universe originated from, aNCHOR have also gone ahead and announced a brand new Muv-Luv game.

Originally released in 2003, Muv-Luv begins as a fairly typical harem dating sim eroge-type VN set in a high school for the first half, known as Muv-Luv Extra. The second half, Muv-Luv Unlimited, is an alternate retelling of the same story that quickly pivots into a sci-fi alien invasion mecha combat story, still with waifus. Thr 2006 sequel Muv-Luv Alternative went further down the mecha route, and after a bunch of spin-offs yet another sequel was announced in 2019, called Muv-Luv Integrate. Unfortunately, no news has been released about Integrate since then, but we're still getting a new game in the series, even if it's not a full sequel.

'Muv-Luv Tactics (name TBC) is the first Muv-Luv game to be announced since the release of last year's Muv-Luv Dimensions mobile gacha game. Other than this teaser trailer promising some hot mecha action, we don't know much else about it yet, but the name suggests it'll be some kinda strategic combat game.
