I Don't Normally Fall For Sleazeballs, But...

Mayonaka Punch has been a mixed bag so far. Some gags tickle me right, some don't even come close to my funny bone. I wish they'd take more time to seriously engage with the content creation aspect of the show and get into the nitty gritty like how Oshi no Ko takes time to explain and portray industry concepts and practices. Oh well, one thing that IS great about the show is the latest addition to the cast: a hot vampire who is obsessed with money and gambling.

I don't normally fall for the "sleazy" archetype of girl either in real life or anime format but dammit I love watching her dumbass try to hit it big at the casino or beg for money from her co-hosts. A lot of that probably comes from her design being a massive winner. She looks like the type of degenerate who would usually be a part of some gang association, when in reality she's so grubby I don't think any yakuza would take her. You see that's where I step in and scoop her up. The only issue is that apart from her being so financially-inclined, her sleazeball nature extends to her room too. In fact, the gang end up making a whole YouTube video on the sole premise of working together to clean up her stinky, garbage-filled, decaying room in the hopes of finding and subsequently selling buried treasure in her hoard. Thinking back to that scene I begin having some second thoughts about whether or not I could stand a relationship with this girl. Either way, I'd be down for a one and done vampiric smash at the very least.

Me trying to roll in gacha games.

It's always funny what weird tropes people are attracted to or repelled by. I know Kinky is in high heaven with this character design as he can't get enough of some sleazy aesthetic on anime women. This is just a rare exception for me thanks to her hot body and charming straightforwardness. Are you watching Mayonaka Punch? Do you enjoy the sleazeball archetype? Would you be down to smash, date, or neither? Load up on garlic, hide your wallet, and reach one million subs with your vampire cohorts in the comments below!
