Here's Our First Look at Grand Theft Auto VI

It's finally here! 4 years since Rockstar's last game and 10 since we first got Grand Theft Auto V, we finally have our long-awaited first look at GTA VI. Without further ado, here's the teaser trailer in all its glory:

The trailer was originally scheduled for today (December 6) but Rockstar were forced to release it a day earlier than planned after it got leaked. In fact, we've had a couple leaks already that have been confirmed by this trailer - the return to Vice City, the modern day setting, which is a first for games set in the GTA's counterpart to Miami, and the dual protagonists featuring the series' first female lead character in the 3D era. We don't know the dude's name yet, but sexy Latina criminal Lucia has already impressed a lot of fans looking forward to see her Bonnie & Clyde-type relationship play out. Micheal, Franklin and Trevor could barely tolerate each other, so this already seems like an interesting dynamic in the chaotic world of GTA.

Other than that, the brief trailer shows us a glimpse of life in Leonida, the equivalent of the state of Florida. Plenty of bikini babes, white trash, lowlives and crazy wildlife; plus the social media video angle tells us Rockstar haven't lost their edge just yet when it comes to satire. Unfortunately, we still have a while to go until the game is actually released, but compare this to what the initial GTA V trailer showed us versus the final game we recieved 2 years later and it seems very promising.

Grand Theft Auto VI is set to release in 2025 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but no word of a PC release just yet. What do you guys think of the trailer? What are you hoping to see in the final game? Let us know below!
