German hentai enthusiasts are in shambles as DLsite, one of the biggest online marketplaces for Japanese doujinshi and eroge, is no longer accessible throughout Deutschland.

Since 2 November, German users have reported finding an error 403 message when trying to access the website, meaning the URL has been blocked in their country. Similarly, DLsite's publisher page on Steam was also region blocked.

In the English-language DLsite Discord server, staff gave an explanation for the regional block. To sum it up, the website was forced to block access to German users by a yet-unknown agency for yet-unkown reasons, but apparently it's nothing to do with age restriction. 

Rest assured, DLsite are working on restoring access to the site in the country, and hopefully soon Germans can once again get their H-game fix, or at least we'll find out why they were made to block an entire country.
