First there was Naruto in Fortnite, then came Attack on Titan in CoD: Warzone. PUBG has had a few anime collabs of its own by now, including Jujutsu Kaisen and Black Lagoon, but the latest is by far the biggest event to date. The mobile port is partnering with Neon Genesis Evangelion, because nothing sums up battle royales better than screaming, crying children with various mental disorders.
Right now you can already unlock Shinji's plugsuit and various other themed cosmetic items, with Rei, Asuka, Mari and Kaoru items set to join in the next few weeks. There's also a new game mode coming on May 19 called Core Circle, where players must survive in a small region while the angel Ramiel wreaks havoc, until Unit-01 comes in to fight it. Evangelion will stick around in PUBG until June 19. Do you play PUBG? Are you looking forward to exclusive Eva content? Let us know below!
