The latest update to Genshin Impact dropped yesterday, so if everything goes well in the future by the time this article drops I should be knee deep in adding her to my team. Arlecchino has been on my radar since the moment she was revealed thanks to that winning design and her, uh, mature demeanor. She has a bit of a dommy mommy vibe in the latest story arc okay? Aside from wanting to play her for gameplay’s sake I also have a soft spot for being able to control villain characters.

I always thought it was super lame growing up when a game would have a large roster with many playable characters, and even PUT the villains into the game, but then wouldn’t make them playable despite movesets and models clearly being produced. I still remember playing a Zatch Bell! game and couldn’t wait to unlock one of the first main antagonists, Zofis. Imagine my disappointment when I fought their ass, saw a bunch of their moves, beat the story on the hardest difficulty (thanks to a rumor that said it was required to unlock Zofis, which was of course a lie) and still didn’t see them show up on the roster. I guess back in the day developers thought it might be a bad influence or something to let people play as the villains but I’m glad we’ve beaten away that idea in many modern titles like Genshin. Speaking of, I’m sure we can expect a ton of sexy Arlecchino art showing up around the internet for the next few days. Genshin Impact and lewd creations are inseparable at this point.
