Final Fantasy Producer Asks Fans Not to Make Lewd Mods

It's been over a year since Final Fantasy XVI first launched for PS5, and now it's finally made its way over to PC. This not only means that a whole new demographic of gamers will get to experience it for the first time, but they can also customize the game with mods in ways you can't achieve on PS5.  The game's creators are well aware of what fans might do to Clive, so they issued a heartfelt request.

In an interview with PC Gamer, FFXVI director Hiroshi Takai was asked if there are any particular mods he was looking forward to. Before he could reply, FFXVI producer and FFXIV director Naoki Yoshida, AKA Yoshi-P, stepped in to say:

"If we said 'It'd be great if someone made xyz,' it might come across as a request, so I'll avoid mentioning any specifics here! The only thing I will say is that we definitely don't want to say anything offensive or inappropriate, so please don't make or install anything like that."

Knowing the state of the modding community, there are gonna be more lewd mods than ever now that Yoshi-P asked fans not to make them. He would've been better off not saying anything at all. Still, considering how much FFXVI was inspired by Game of Thrones, it would make sense for there to be a mod that adds more bare tiddies than we got in the original version. Sorry, Yoshi.

Are you guys planning on picking up FFXVI on PC? Are you installing any lewd mods? Let us know in the comments!
