Do You Own Any Physical Hentai?

These days people are owning less and less physical media. It’s hard to justify spending money on an album when a streaming service subscription can unlock the vast majority of the world’s library of music to you. With digital purchases you gain access to a ton of content and almost immediately too. The only problem is that you don’t really own anything, you just buy your right to spend time consuming the media. I myself am guilty of this with various media types, and hentai is no exception.

I’ve never bought a physical hentai in my entire life. Even though there are some episodes that are my favorites and I’ve gone back to them time and time again, I haven’t bothered to pick up their official copies. Physical media already has the downsides I listed above, but now we’re also factoring in that it’s fucking porn. That means I can’t exactly leave my precious stash of “Never Ending Fucking Seasons 1-3” on my desk. I’d need to find a nice place stored away out of plain sight, and at that point when it comes time to cum again, I probably will just find them online in seconds rather than digging through my hiding spots to drudge up the hard copies. For me it’s not worth the cost financially or spatially to collect physical hentai copies. However, I wanted to see if there are some of you out there who own a collection or just some of your favorites on discs in case of an impending apocalypse. I imagine downloading files and backup copies on multiple flash drives is about the furthest most people would go in the name of preservation, but pictures like these from Reddit prove there are some daring souls out there who need that physical touch.

Now THIS is why the DVD format was created.

Books are about the only media I own in a majority physical format. However, I think the fact that I’m not actually a serious reader contributes to why that’s the case. I still love the feel and smell of them even if I don’t reach much anymore, but I’m afraid I’m a virgin consumer loser when it comes to audio and video. Do you own any hentai physical releases? How do you collect your hentai? What about physical releases of other media? Go online, order up some DVDs, and prepare a storage room in the comments below!
