Asuka Fans Disappointed Over Typo on Evangelion Motherboard

I've mentioned this in the past, but I still find it crazy that Neon Genesis Evangelion is simultaneously a cerebral deconstruction of the mecha genre as well as one of the most whored-out franchises on the face of the earth. You can get Eva-branded everything from phones to garden hoses and marriage certificates, so a motherboard manufactured by ASUS under their Republic of Gamers brand featuring Asuka doesn't seem too out of the ordinary in comparison. That is until you look at it up close.

The ROG Maximus Z790 Hero EVA-02 features "Intel® Z790 LGA 1700 ATX motherboard with 20 + 1 + 2 power stages, DDR5, five M.2 slots, PCIe® 5.0 NVMe® SSD slot on Hyper M.2 Card, PCIe 5.0 x16 SafeSlots with Q-Release, Wi-Fi 6E, two Thunderbolt™ 4 ports, USB 20Gbps Type-C® front-panel connector with Quick Charge 4+ up to 60W, AI Overclocking, AI Cooling II, and Aura Sync RGB lighting", along with the red/black/orange aesthetic of Eva Unit-02 and an image of its pilot, Asuka. These specs and the unique design means it retails for about US$700, but maybe ASUS should've spent a bit more time on quality control.

Look closely next to the panel adorned with Asuka and you can see they misspelled Evangelion as Evangenlion; a pretty embarassing typo considering it's literally in the name of the series ASUS are collaborating with, and the word is spelled correctly in other instances it's printed on the motherboard. To make up for it, baka ASUS released a statement apologizing for the error, promising to ship out replacement parts so users can fix it themselves, and extending the warranty by a year. If you've spent $700 on a fancy motherboard you're gonna wanna show it off, and that'd be hard to do if there's a blatant mistake on it, even if it's still perfectly functional.

What do you guys think of this? Would you be mad if you spent that much on a PC part only for it to have a typo printed on it? Or is it no big deal to you? Leave your thoughts below!
